Freshmen Orientation Housing
When signing up for orientation using myOleMiss, a student will have the option to opt into overnight housing in the residence hall for no additional fee. Note that this option is only for night one of their orientation.
Family and guest members can also opt into housing during the orientation registration process for a fee of $35 per person. Note that this option is only for night one of their orientation.
What to Bring: Each room will consist of two twin XL beds, a dresser, desk, and private bathroom, which includes a shower. You will need to provide your own bedding, toiletries, towels, etc.
Roommates: If two students at the same orientation session would like to stay with each other, they will be able to request their specific roommate during day one of orientation. If the student does not have a specific person in mind, then they will be given a random roommate of the same sex. Students will also have the option to share a room with their family or guest member, should all parties opt into the on campus housing option during registration.
Note that any guest member in a room by themselves would not be assigned a random roommate.

The only overnight housing offered in the residence hall is during night one of Freshman Orientation.
Since Transfer sessions are only one day, we do not offer overnight accommodations in the residence halls.
